Starting with a modest setup in 2004—a single mic, a two-channel interface, and Pro Tools—Michael taught himself the art of recording. By 2009, he opened South Texas Viper Studio, where he spent a decade honing his craft, recording local talent and collaborating with South Texas’ finest musicians on his own singer-songwriter projects.

In 2024, Michael broke ground on a new chapter: Diamondback Recording Studio. Nestled on a private ranch in Elmendorf, Texas, our studio combines a cozy, creative atmosphere with cutting-edge technology.
